A small (790 sf) two bedroom, one story cape, with eat-in kitchen was doubled in size to make way for a first floor master suite and spacious kitchen. The roof was pulled off and reframed to add two second floor bedrooms and full bath: a place for guests and the grandkids to retreat. Laundry facilities were moved from the basement, and all new mechanical and electrical systems throughout make this home a model of efficiency and reliability. Front and rear porches level with the first floor, wide doors, and generous manuevering space are some of the features that add to the universal design and will allow the new owners to age in place comforably, for years to come.
Thanks to Kevin Dunigan & Co. and his crews for bringing it all together and into reality.
